PRACTICE AREAS

Shannon concentrates her practice primarily on representing small organizations and individuals in environmental, land use, and administrative matters. Before joining Calhoun, Bhella & Sechrest, Shannon spent several years as a staff attorney with the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Clinic where she represented nonprofit organizations in environmental, renewable energy, administrative, and constitutional litigation. While at the Clinic, she led case teams comprised of law, graduate, and PhD students and taught the administrative law component of the Clinic’s curriculum.
