Brian Calhoun is a partner whose practice centers on complex mergers and acquisitions and other strategic business transactions. He represents buyers and sellers in connection with joint ventures, business combinations, acquisition and disposition transactions, entity formation, corporate governance, banking and finance transactions, commercial real estate and construction transactions, technology agreements, and intellectual property-related transaction issues.

Brian has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive, technology, media, consulting, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, and real estate, with experience addressing business, governance, financing, real estate, construction, technology, and intellectual property issues that arise in corporate transactions.

Before co-founding Calhoun, Bhella & Sechrest, Brian practiced with large international law firms in California and Texas. During law school, he interned for Judge Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as a notes and comments editor of the Southwestern University Law Review.
